Job summary

Nextech is hiring a field HVAC technician to install, diagnose, and service commercial kitchen equipment across sites. You’ll handle convection ovens, conveyers, ovens, fryers, steamers, and related devices, with a focus on quality service and customer trust.

The role demands physical endurance, the ability to read customer prices, and willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Strong industry certification is preferred; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Specific industry certification/license in HVAC preferred.
• Experience with commercial cooking equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial cooking equipment (convection ovens, conveyor ovens, combi-ovens, fryers, grills, slicers, steamers, microwaves).
• Promote company beliefs regarding quality service and fair-minded business solutions; build trust with clients.
• Read, understand and quote customer prices; operate hand and power tools and gauges.
• Transport and install equipment; read diagrams; perform testing and adjustments.
• Work flexible hours, including on-call nights and weekends.
