Colorado State University seeks a Commercial Dining Equipment Specialist to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment across Housing & Dining Services facilities.

The role requires advanced knowledge of circuitry, electronics, and mechanical systems to ensure safe, efficient operation and compliance with health standards; you will perform preventive maintenance and use diagnostic tools, supporting CSU's mission of reliable dining operations.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of related experience.
• Universal EPA Certification.

Mansioni

• Diagnose, analyze, and repair circuit boards, electrical systems, and machine software for a wide variety of commercial kitchen and dining equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair on ovens, broilers, steamers, kettles, tilt skillets, and temperature– and pressure controlled systems.
• Operate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair sanitation equipment including commercial dish machines, turbo wash systems, disposals, pulpers, and wash‑down ventilation systems to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Conduct diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on refrigeration systems including electronic timers, pressure regulators, thermostats, and other controls critical to safe operation.
• Utilize a wide range of diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, manometers, circuit tracers) and hand/power tools to complete mechanical and electronic repairs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, manage parts inventories, and order required materials through maintenance software systems.
• Attend required trainings, meetings, and development opportunities; communicate effectively with team members and customers; comply with CSU and departmental policies.
• Other related duties as assigned.
