Job summary

The Yolanda Heinsohn Agency, a Farmers Insurance agency in Rhome, Texas, seeks a Commercial Insurance Sales Specialist to join our in-office team. This role focuses on prospecting, building relationships, generating new business, and closing sales.

A $24,000 annual base salary plus uncapped commissions drives earnings and growth. You will develop a pipeline of commercial prospects, present coverage solutions, and collaborate with local businesses to expand commercial insurance revenue.

Qualifications

Active Texas General Lines Property & Casualty license required.
Sales or business development experience is preferred.
Commercial insurance experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
Strong prospecting, communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

Responsibilities

Proactively prospect for new commercial insurance business through cold calling, outbound calls, networking, referrals, and lead follow-up.
Identify and connect with business owners, decision-makers, and potential commercial clients.
Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified commercial insurance prospects.
Conduct discovery conversations to understand business operations, exposures, and insurance needs.
Prepare and present commercial insurance quotes and coverage solutions.
Close new business and meet production goals.
