Parker-Douglas Insurance is seeking a Commercial Insurance Producer to develop new business relationships across Georgia. This front-facing outside-sales role is largely remote from Georgia with field activity as needed for visits, networking, and relationship development.

The position offers a salary with commission potential and is measured by activity and results. Candidates with proven sales success and a Georgia P&C license are preferred, with opportunities to grow within a thriving

• Maintain records of prospect interactions, follow-up commitments, and policy information.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and needs.
• Stay current on commercial insurance products, market conditions, and requirements.

The opportunity

Parker-Douglas Insurance is hiring a Commercial Insurance Producer to develop new business insurance relationships across Georgia. This is a front-facing outside-sales role for a motivated producer who enjoys prospecting, meeting business owners, building referral relationships, and turning consistent activity into closed business. You will work remotely from within Georgia and conduct field activity as needed for prospect visits, networking, and relationship development.

How success is measured

This is a pay-for-performance sales position driven by activity and results. Success comes from disciplined prospecting, steady pipeline development, timely follow-up, and the ability to close profitable new business. Producers are expected to manage their activity independently, maintain accurate records, and provide a professional experience throughout the sales process.

What you will do

• Generate new commercial insurance opportunities through outbound prospecting, business visits, networking, referral relationships, and other lead sources.
• Meet with business owners and decision-makers in the field and virtually to understand their operations, insurance needs, and priorities.
• Present insurance solutions clearly, follow up consistently, and move qualified opportunities through the sales process to closing.

Compensation

This is a salaried position with the opportunity to earn commission on each sale. This allows high-performing producers the opportunity to increase their earnings through consistent activity, individual performance, and successfully closed business. Candidates with relevant experience and a demonstrated record of sales success may also be considered for alternative compensation structures that reflect their proven capabilities.

Estimated total annual compensation

$40,000 to $100,000 or more, depending on experience, the approved compensation structure, and individual sales results.

What we are looking for

• Experience in outside sales, business-to-business sales, lead generation, or a related customer-facing role.
• A demonstrated ability to build relationships, earn trust, and follow through on commitments.
• Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills.
• The motivation and discipline to manage prospecting activity and sales follow-up in a remote environment.
• Ability to learn and use Microsoft 365, agency systems, and web-based tools to manage communication, records, and sales activity.
• Ability to conduct in-person sales activity and relationship development within Georgia.

Preferred qualifications

• An active Georgia Property and Casualty insurance license.
• Commercial insurance sales or service experience.
• A record of meeting or exceeding individual sales goals.
• Existing knowledge of the Georgia business community or experience developing a professional referral network.
• Familiarity with AMS360 or a comparable agency management system.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
