Job summary

The Jonus Group is seeking a Commercial Insurance Inside Sales/Placement Specialist to support sales and client relationships across multiple lines of coverage, and to manage a large, established book of business.

You will handle new and renewal business, review contracts for accuracy, prepare certificates, proposals, and policy summaries, and strive to retain accounts. Brokerage experience and an active P&C license are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with multiple lines coverage and carriers.
• Ability to manage a large, established book of business.
• Prior client-facing experience and relationship building.
• Handle new and renewal business, including reviews and endorsements.
• Review insurance contracts for accuracy.
• Prepare certificates, proposals, policy summaries, and reviews.
• Work independently or as part of a team to support sales.
• Responsible for retention of assigned accounts.
• Apply problem-solving techniques to cancellations, renewals, audits, receivables.
• Brokerage experience.
• Active P&C license.
