GreenState Credit Union is seeking an Insurance Advisor in Downers Grove, IL, to drive commercial lines growth through outside sales with insureds and local businesses. The role targets expanding comprehensive insurance portfolios and building strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of five years in property casualty insurance sales.
• Property & Casualty license required; Life & Health license required.
• CIC certification preferred; experience in an independent agency is a plus.
• Demonstrates entrepreneurial approach and ability to grow business.
• Ability to maintain existing client relationships and appointments with carriers.

Responsibilities

• Advise prospects and insureds on insurance products in an outside sales role.
• Develop relationships with outside sources to drive agency business.
• Collaborate with GreenState Credit Union divisions to increase wallet share.
• Attend meetings, events, and continuing education to stay compliant.
• Maintain confidential client information and provide excellent service.
