Job summary

GreenState Credit Union is seeking an Insurance Advisor to drive commercial lines growth and advanced sales in an outside sales capacity with insureds and businesses building comprehensive insurance portfolios.

The role emphasizes proactive prospecting, face-to-face engagement at events, and collaboration with GreenState divisions to increase share of wallet. A P&C license and Life/Health licenses are required, with CIC preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of property casualty insurance sales experience.
• Property Casualty license required.
• Life and Health license required.
• CIC certificate preferred.
• Experience in an independent agency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advises prospects and insureds regarding features, advantages and disadvantages of various insurance products in an outside sales environment.
• Sells all lines of new business insurance policies to membership and prospects.
• Develops and fosters relationships with recommendation sources outside of the credit union to drive business to the agency.
• Work as a partner with GreenState Credit Union divisions to drive capture rate and share of the wallet within membership.
• Maintains and services personal book of business managing client relationships and expectations of insureds.
• Attends outside marketing events to find new leads and business development.
