The role requires immediate contribution, heavy use of the Newton agency system, handling applications, certificates, endorsements, invoicing, and coordination with carriers.

Candidates should have an active P&C license and prior independent agency experience, plus strong written communication and multi-tasking abilities in a full-time

Qualifications

• Active P&C General Lines Agent license required.
• Prior Commercial Lines experience in an independent agency.
• Strong writing and email communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with agency management systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agency producers and owners.
• Daily use of Newton agency management system.
• Market and remarket policies with carriers.
• Prepare professional emails to clients, agents and carriers.
• Complete Acord applications and supplementals.
• Work with carriers, brokers and MGAs.
• Process endorsements and change requests.
• Create proposals and issue certificates of insurance.
• Invoicing and carrier downloads.
• Back up other account executives.
