Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. in Dallas, TX, seeks a seasoned technician to serve as SME for EMS processes, procedures, and projects. You will perform evacuations, wiring, and startup of parallel refrigeration systems, ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role involves leading small projects, supporting retro-commissioning efforts, and training junior technicians. A strong background in commercial refrigeration and EMS systems is required, with CO2 experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Coursework at accredited vocational-technical or trade school.
• 3+ years of supermarket EMS systems experience.
• EMS certification preferred.
• 5+ years in commercial refrigeration, with parallel rack experience (CO2 a plus).

Responsibilities

• Perform evacuations of parallel racks after pressure tests.
• Perform EMS wiring and programming for EMS systems across manufacturers.
• Perform full start-up of new parallel refrigeration systems and individual systems.
• Lead small projects such as single case and condenser changeouts.
• Assist with EO projects including retro-commissioning of supermarkets for system performance or utility programs, EMS upgrades, leak detection upgrades, and gas conversion projects.
• Work with local branch Service and Construction Managers between projects to assist in problematic stores, training for junior technicians and foremen, or other areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
