Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Service Technician to independently or with a team perform installation, startup, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of commercial HVACR equipment and systems in the Houston area.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant field experience, experience with VRF and BAS/DDC controls is preferred, and candidates must have their own tools and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Pre-employment screening will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Experience in service work for an HVAC contractor.
• VRF experience preferred.
• BAS/DDC controls experience desired.
• Own tools required.
• Must have reliable communication, both oral and written.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. This is not an entry level position.

Responsibilities

• Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders and planning daily travel.
• Establishes service by studying system requirements and performing installations.
• Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints and recommending improvements.
• Keeps equipment operating by troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance.
