Job summary

Design Temp of Florida Inc. is seeking a skilled commercial HVAC technician to deliver service and preventive maintenance across Tampa and surrounding areas. Enjoy a steady workload with modern equipment and a strong benefits package.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain rooftop units, split systems, and refrigeration equipment, reading blueprints and communicating solutions clearly to customers. A valid driver's license and EPA certification are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC/HVAC-R service experience.
EPA Type II or Universal EPA Certification.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics.
Valid driver''s license.
Experience servicing HVAC systems in restaurants/medical facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform commercial HVAC service and preventive maintenance in Tampa, FL and surrounding areas.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain rooftop units, split systems, and refrigeration equipment.
Service ductwork, electrical components, and HVAC control systems.
Troubleshoot refrigerant, airflow, and electrical system issues.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics.
Explain system conditions and solutions to customers professionally.
Complete accurate service documentation and work reports.
Keep your company vehicle clean, organized, and stocked.
Follow HVAC safety procedures and industry compliance standards.
