Job summary

Yellowstone Local is seeking a skilled commercial HVAC technician for Design Temp of Florida Inc. in the Tampa, FL area.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining rooftop units, split systems, and HVAC controls; reading blueprints; and documenting work while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC/HVAC-R service experience.
• EPA Type II or Universal EPA Certification.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with restaurant or medical facility HVAC is preferred.
• Willingness to complete written and verbal trade assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial HVAC service and preventive maintenance throughout Tampa, Florida and the surrounding areas.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and HVAC/R systems, including rooftop units, split systems, and refrigeration equipment.
• Service ductwork, electrical components, and HVAC control systems.
• Troubleshoot refrigerant, airflow, and electrical system issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics.
• Explain system conditions and recommended solutions to customers in a professional manner.
• Complete accurate service documentation and work reports.
• Keep your company vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Follow all HVAC safety procedures and industry compliance standards.

Your New Role

• Valid driver's license.

• Willingness to complete written and verbal trade assessments.

• Experience servicing HVAC systems in restaurant and medical facilities is preferred.
