Job summary

ColonialWebb is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support customers across the DC/MD market. You will diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment, run scheduled maintenance, and create professional service reports for customers.

The role offers take-home company vehicle, fuel card, phone, overtime opportunities, OEM training, and licensing support toward Journeyman/Master HVAC certifications. Join a team that values safety, training, and long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial HVAC service.
• Maryland journeyman license, or eligible for one, with company support for exam prep and license.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation (every 6-8 weeks).
• Professional communication skills in the field and in service documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment, including RTUs and split systems (50 ton and above), VRF, heat pumps, hydronic and low-pressure steam boilers, pumps and pump packages, cooling towers and chillers.
• Run scheduled maintenance on your own accounts.
• Create clear, professional service reports and communicate findings and recommendations to customers.
• Quote the repairs you find and flag replacements; the work you generate counts.
