Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site HVAC service technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up commercial HVAC systems at customer locations. You’ll work with a team to forecast issues, gather materials, and align on-site work with project managers.

EPA-certified technicians with strong MS Office and handheld device skills are preferred. The role emphasizes safety, flexible scheduling including potential overtime, and close collaboration with internal and external partners

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience, chiller experience preferred.
• EPA Certification and valid driver’s license required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and field handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• On-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs of HVAC systems at customer locations.
• Serve as the primary company contact, ensuring customer satisfaction and accurate on-site work.
• Diagnose and repair equipment following blueprints or specs using appropriate tools.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.
• Maintain safety standards and asset security for company equipment.
