Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States is seeking a field-based HVAC service technician responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems at customer facilities. You will work closely with customers, facility teams, and internal partners to ensure operations run smoothly and safely.

The role requires 5+ years of HVAC experience, a valid driver's license, EPA certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office on handheld devices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically 5+ years of HVAC experience.
• EPA certification required.
• Valid driver's license for at least 12 months with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to define on-site installation and repair requirements.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact, diagnose and repair equipment at customer locations.
• Use software, blueprints, and hand tools to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as needed.
• Uphold safety standards and manage company assets on site.
