Job summary

Engineering Excellence National Account in Farmington Hills, MI, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service commercial heating, cooling, ventilation, and IAQ equipment. You will deliver quality workmanship, maintain safety standards, and provide outstanding customer service in fast-paced environments.

Requirements include 2+ years in commercial HVAC, EPA 608 refrigeration license (universal preferred), ability to read drawings, and willingness to overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in the commercial HVAC industry with EPA 608 Refrigeration license, Universal preferred.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and experience in the commercial HVAC field.
• Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment for various projects.
• Adept at servicing commercial HVAC equipment and related accessories.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer-focused service.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Pass background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer concerns in commercial environments.
• Service commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
• Perform start-ups on equipment as required.
• Navigate smartphone to support business systems.
• Use IVR systems and coordinate with EE dispatchers.
• Deliver and remove equipment needed for service work.
• Provide excellent service to commercial customers and maintain high satisfaction.
• Handle customer questions or problems effectively.
• Prepare material requisitions to ensure proper stock levels.
• Perform maintenance, servicing, and minor fabrication as needed.
