Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC technician to service and maintain commercial HVAC systems at customer sites in Montgomery, AL. You will diagnose, repair, and start up equipment, using your knowledge of air conditioning theory, piping, and mechanical layouts.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and typically 5+ years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, typically 5+ years of HVAC experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Valid driver's license for at least 12 months and clean driving record.
• EPA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems at customer sites.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to plan on-site work.
• Diagnose and repair equipment following blueprints or specs.
• Overtime and occasional overnight stays may be required.
• Adhere to safety standards and protect company assets.
