Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to service commercial systems on-site at customer locations. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and startup HVAC equipment, applying knowledge of air conditioning theory and mechanical layouts.

This role requires a High School diploma, 10+ years of HVAC experience, a valid driver's license, and EPA certification preferred. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• EPA Certification preferred (e.g. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean record in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
• Serve as direct customer contact and service products/equipment at customer locations to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Use blueprints or engineering specs and hand-tools to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintain safety standards and accountability of company assets.
• Mentor team members and be flexible for overtime including occasional overnight stays.
