Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an experienced HVAC service technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and startup HVAC systems at customer sites in a defined market. You will use your knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts to ensure reliable operation and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; technical school or formal training is preferred.
• EPA Certification required; valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to forecast issues and plan on-site installation/repairs.
• Serve as direct customer contact for projects, diagnosing and repairing equipment at the customer site.
• Use blueprints/engineering specs and tools to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends; may include occasional overnight stays.
• Enforce safety standards and manage company assets on site.
