Job summary

Kelso Building Services in Las Vegas seeks an experienced HVAC Technician to service large commercial and industrial facilities, perform diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, installs, and system optimization.

You will need EPA 608 certification, 3+ years in commercial HVAC, VRF familiarity, strong electrical troubleshooting, a valid license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs; the company provides a vehicle, benefits, PTO, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.
3+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
Familiarity with VRF systems.
Strong electrical troubleshooting across low/high voltage.
Valid driver's license in good standing.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and access mechanical rooms and rooftops.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install commercial HVAC equipment.
Commission and start up systems, optimizing for peak efficiency.
Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and controls issues.
Perform preventative maintenance on chillers, towers, pumps, boilers, and related equipment.
Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
Document work thoroughly and communicate findings to customers.
Adhere to safety requirements, EPA standards, and company policies.
Provide guidance to apprentices and junior technicians where applicable.
