The role boards a Facilities Technician 4 with duties spanning maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of critical building systems in laboratory environments. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HVAC, EPA refrigerant certification, and HVAC certification or equivalent training, plus strong mechanical/electrical maintenance experience

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience
• EPA Refrigerant Certification (Universal preferred)
• HVAC Certification or equivalent training
• Experience with chillers, refrigeration systems, and HVAC troubleshooting
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance in commercial, lab, biotech, or pharma environments

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Service and maintain chillers, refrigeration systems, AHUs, VAVs, and cooling towers.
• Monitor and maintain mechanical, electrical, and HVAC equipment for optimal building performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, boilers, VFDs, heat exchangers, and related facility systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure EPA/facility regulation compliance.

As a Facilities Technician 4, you will be part of the Facilities Operations team supporting critical building systems and laboratory environments. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Pennington, NJ

Pay Range: $38.00/hour

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Service and maintain chillers, refrigeration systems, air handling units (AHUs), VAV systems, and cooling towers.
• Monitor and maintain mechanical, electrical, and HVAC equipment to ensure optimal building performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, boilers, VFDs, heat exchangers, and related facility systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with EPA and facility regulations.
