Job summary

Young’s Mechanical Solutions is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician in Harrisonburg, VA to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a range of commercial HVAC systems. The role requires self-motivation, customer focus, and experience with multiple brands.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Universal EPA Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment including RTUs, VRF/VRV, boilers, chillers, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system tune-ups.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Complete service tickets and reports using mobile apps.
• Communicate effectively with customers and teammates.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to join our service department.

Position Summary

As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, customer-focused, and experienced in servicing various HVAC equipment brands. This role involves working closely with our service team to ensure timely, cost-effective, and professional repairs across our client base.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment, including RTUs, VRF/VRV systems, boilers, chillers, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits
• Perform preventative maintenance and system tune-ups

• Accurately complete service tickets and reports using mobile apps and software
