Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician in Davenport, IA to join our team. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing commercial/industrial HVAC systems for a fast-paced client base.

The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years in HVAC repair, can interpret electrical and mechanical plans, and holds EPA Universal Certification and an Iowa HVAC license (or ability to obtain). A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years repairing commercial/industrial HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical plans.
• Experience with cooling towers, pumps, burners, RTUs, VRF, and VAV systems.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Iowa HVAC License or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identify maintenance risks and implement corrective measures.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Clean, adjust, repair systems and perform warranty services.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to junior staff.
• Keep daily logs and records of maintenance functions.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Health & Safety Act.
• Assist customers with queries and provide expert advice and solutions.

Responsibilities
