Stifter Mechanical LLC is seeking an experienced commercial HVAC technician who can walk onto any commercial job — rooftop units, air handlers, boilers, chillers — and handle it with precision.

This role offers a clear path for growth, including leading larger accounts and mentoring newer techs, with a pay rate of $50–$60/hour based on experience and a $3,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments over the first year.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Clear communication and pride in quality work.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across a wide range of commercial systems, including rooftop units, air handlers, boilers, chillers, and related equipment.
• Operate independently on job sites, including healthcare facilities, with a focus on reliability and precision.
• Document work details in the company CRM for each site and job.

We’re looking for an experienced commercial HVAC technician who takes pride in precision work, communicates clearly, and can be trusted to run jobs independently at the highest level.

This isn’t an entry-level role. We need someone who can walk onto any commercial job — rooftop units, air handlers, boilers, chillers — and handle it like second nature.

As we continue to grow, there’s a real path here toward more responsibility — taking the lead on larger accounts, mentoring newer techs, and playing a bigger role in how our service department runs. This is a place to build a career, not just take a job.

Pay: $50–$60/hour, based on experience.

Sign-On Bonus: $3,000, paid in two installments over your first year.

Responsibilities

Diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across a wide range of commercial systems, including rooftop units, air handlers & VAVs, fan coils, boilers & hydronic systems, chillers & cooling towers, pumps, exhaust fans, and more. You’ll operate independently in the field — including at healthcare facilities where our clients count on consistency and reliability — and document your work through our CRM.
