Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Tech in Austin, TX to service and maintain equipment for national accounts. The role involves diagnosing issues on-site, using hand tools, performing preventative maintenance, and coordinating site activities with customers and team members.

You will work on-site at customer locations, inspect and maintain company vehicles, and prepare for installations as needed. A strong focus on safety and quality is essential.

• Diagnose and repair units using hand-tools per blueprints or engineering specs.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as requested.
• Prepare for on-site installation by assessing building layout, materials, and coordinating work.
• Inspect and maintain company vehicles and complete service records.

• Uses a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
• Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer's location.
• Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as need or requested by customers.
• Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.
• Inspects vehicles by checking vehicle condition and cleanliness
• Maintains vehicles by keeping records of service, scheduling, and complete repairs and maintenance service
