Riddleberger Brothers, Inc. is seeking to hire a Commercial HVAC Service Technician Level 3.

Primary Purpose

Service, maintain, and repair most commercial HVAC systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow and adhere to all company safety requirements and processes.
• Use service literature to service, perform maintenance on, and repair air‑cooled water chillers, water‑cooled DX water chillers, electronic controls, chilled‑ and hot‑water piping, gas‑fired and electric hot‑water heating systems, electronic and computer‑controlled temperature‑control systems, electronic variable‑speed drives, packaged water‑cooled AC units up to 100tons, water‑source heat pumps, computer‑room‑type units, pneumatic and modular DDC control systems, air‑handling equipment, VAV systems, atmospheric gas‑fired hot water boilers, and associated equipment.
• Perform general maintenance on chilled‑ and hot‑water piping and pumping systems.
• Perform basic maintenance on atmospheric gas‑fired hot water boilers.
• Conduct maintenance on direct expansion AC equipment up to 5tons, gas‑fired and electric heating systems up to 5tons, low‑voltage temperature‑control systems, air‑handling equipment, and duct systems associated with commercial HVAC equipment.

Other Requirements

• Broad knowledge of larger commercial HVAC equipment.
• Understanding of single and three‑phase electrical systems.
• Ability to travel to job sites and occasionally stay overnight.
• Valid driver’s license and comply with company driver qualification policy.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school or trade school graduate or GED.
• Universal Refrigerant Card and Gas Fitters Card (TypeI and Universal).
• At least five years of commercial HVAC experience.
