Job summary

SSH Facilities is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join a family-owned, full-service HVAC and Building Services Company serving the Eastern states. The role involves performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on commercial systems, diagnosing issues, and upgrading equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in all aspects of COMMERCIAL HVAC, including EPA Certification.
• Possess a set of basic hand tools
• Must possess a hardworking, dependable, and positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
• Clean driving record, criminal record and the ability to pass a drug screening
• Computer, phone, and written skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on commercial HVAC systems
• Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Install, replace, and upgrade HVAC equipment and components.
• Complete all work orders with accurate documentation and notes promptly
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks (e.g., filter changes, coil cleaning, lubrication, belt replacement).
• Maintain inventory of tools, materials, and equipment in service vehicles.
• Clearly maintain regular communication with dispatch
