Job summary

SSH Facilities, a family-owned HVAC and Building Services company, serves PA/NJ/DE/MD/DC with offices in West Chester and Coatesville. We seek an HVAC Technician to join a family-first team in the Coatesville area; you will perform maintenance and repairs on commercial systems and document work accurately.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years' commercial HVAC experience, EPA certification, basic hand tools, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in all aspects of COMMERCIAL HVAC.
• EPA Certification required.
• Possess a set of basic hand tools.
• Clean driving and criminal records; pass a drug screening.
• Computer/phone/written skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend repairs.
• Install, replace, and upgrade HVAC equipment and components.
• Complete work orders with accurate documentation.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks (filters, coils, lubrication, belts).
• Maintain inventory of tools and materials in service vehicles.
• Communicate with dispatch clearly.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on commercial HVAC systems
• Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Install, replace, and upgrade HVAC equipment and components.
• Complete all work orders with accurate documentation and notes promptly
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks (e.g., filter changes, coil cleaning, lubrication, belt replacement).
• Maintain inventory of tools, materials, and equipment in service vehicles.
• Clearly maintain regular communication with dispatch

Requirements

Qualifications:
