Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. in Phoenix is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to perform operations, repairs, replacement and preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 5 years of experience with universal CFC certification, strong communication, PPE usage, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will collaborate with Dispatch and follow OSHA/NFPA 70e safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5 years of experience in maintaining similar type and size commercial equipment, along with a current Universal CFC certification.
• Strong oral and written communication required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas.
• Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments.
• Valid Driver’s license and able to maintain a good driving record.
• Ability to stand, sit or squat for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift, move and carry material up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at extended heights.
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). i.e., Dust mask, gloves, eye protection and hearing protection.

• Work with the Dispatch Team to ensure that the workload is accomplished in a complete and timely manner.
• The individual must maintain safe work practices in support of the OSHA Health & Safety and NFPA 70e standards as it applies when performing the assigned duties.
