RLP Mechanical Contractors, Inc. in the Dallas area is hiring an Experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician.

Earn $35–$40 per hour with weekly pay, plus a take-home company truck and comprehensive benefits to support your career in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical services. You will diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC refrigeration systems, perform preventive maintenance, and mentor teammates while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of hands-on commercial refrigeration & HVAC service experience.
• EPA Type II certification required.
• Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC refrigeration systems: walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, rack systems, ice machines, RTUs, split systems, and chillers.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep systems running at peak efficiency.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues quickly and effectively.
• Follow all safety protocols and refrigerant handling guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with customers and recommend needed repairs or upgrades.
• Mentor junior technicians and share expertise.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC refrigeration systems: walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, rack systems, ice machines as well as RTU’s, split systems, and chillers.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–6+ years of hands-on commercial refrigeration & HVAC service experience
• Previous commercial kitchen equipment repair experience is a plus
• Proven skill with diagnostics, repairs, and system performance optimization
• EPA Type II certification required | OSHA 30 preferred
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and customer-focused approach
