Tri-State Electrical & Mechanical is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to join our team in the Northern New Jersey/ New York City area. The role focuses on servicing commercial and residential heating and cooling systems, including RTUs, split systems, furnaces, mini-splits, and related equipment.

We seek a reliable professional with 3+ years of HVAC experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC experience, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Comfortable with rooftop units, split systems, furnaces and mini-splits.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing on commercial and residential HVAC systems.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems and replace defective components.
• Assist with light sheet metal fabrication and ductwork as needed.

An established and growing commercial HVAC service contractor is seeking a reliable, motivated, and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team! We are looking for a qualified individual with 3 or more years of HVAC experience preferred, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, service, repairs, and light installation work. Responsibilities include servicing commercial and residential heating and air conditioning systems, including rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, furnaces, mini-splits, and related HVAC equipment. Daily duties include performing routine maintenance, replacing air filters, diagnosing electrical and mechanical problems, replacing defective components, and performing basic sheet metal fabrication and ductwork installation as needed.

Qualified candidates must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, have good mechanical and troubleshooting skills, and be comfortable working on ladders, including standard A-frame ladders. Applicants should be dependable, professional, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
