Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain, service, and repair HVAC/Refrigeration equipment and associated systems.
2. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
3. Assess equipment performance and identify customer service needs, including revenue-generating opportunities.
4. Provide clear and timely reporting on work orders and quotes.
5. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and service personnel to optimize efficiency.
6. Adhere to all safety protocols, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE).
7. Build and maintain courteous, professional relationships with customers and third parties.
8. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on assigned systems and equipment.
9. Utilize and navigate paperless technology tools for scheduling, reporting, and documentation.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in HVAC/Refrigeration repair and maintenance, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
2. Valid, clean driver's license that meets company vehicle policy.
3. Required Certifications:
   1. FDNY F60/G60/Torch Certification
   2. OSHA 30-hour and 10-hour SST Certification
   3. EPA section 608, A2L Certification
4. Familiarity with smart devices and IVR systems; knowledge of retail procedures is a plus.
5. Flexibility to work stand-by rotations and overtime as needed.
6. Commitment to safety, professionalism, and delivering exceptional results.
7. Ability to work independently or collaboratively with crews, depending on job requirements.
8. Participation in an on-call rotation is required every 7-8 weeks.
9. Will join the Local 638 Steamfitters Union upon completing the probationary period.
