Job summary

Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across our Florida client base.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, replace components, and document work thoroughly while following safety protocols. A high school diploma, vocational HVAC training, EPA 608, and 5 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC program or apprenticeship preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC hand and power tools.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and varied conditions.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.
• 5 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

This position will report to Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global.Job Responsibilities:*** Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of commercial HVAC and Refrigeration systems, including but not limited to split systems, package units, chillers, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.* Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, inspecting electrical components, and replacing filters.* Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration system malfunctions, identifying root causes and recommending appropriate solutions.* Conduct repairs and component replacements based on diagnostics performed.* Document all service and repair work accurately and thoroughly.* Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.* Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and tools.* Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing clear explanations of work performed.* Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills.* Participate in On-call rotation or emergency service.Job Qualifications:*** High school diploma or equivalent.
