Job Overview

The Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician provides service and repair of commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, and/or commercial HVAC.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC and refrigeration commercial kitchen equipment.
2. Communicate status of repairs with customer and branch office.
3. Accurately complete service calls in a timely manner.
4. Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked on vehicle.
5. Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms representative of Whaley quality.
6. Meet reasonable on-call requirements.
7. Communicate with branch office to order parts for repairs.

Minimum Requirements:

• 'Safety First' mindset
• Three years experience on commercial kitchen repair of refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• HVAC Journeyman certification
• Strong electrical, HVAC/R, and mechanical background is a plus.
• Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to accurately and promptly complete required paperwork.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
