Job Overview

The Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician provides service and repair of commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, and/or commercial HVAC.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC and refrigeration commercial kitchen equipment.
2. Communicate status of repairs with customer and branch office.
3. Accurately complete service calls in a timely manner.
4. Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked on the vehicle.
5. Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to represent Whaley's quality standards.
6. Meet reasonable on-call requirements.
7. Communicate with branch office to order parts for repairs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Safety First mindset
• At least three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair of refrigeration and HVAC equipment
• HVAC Journeyman certification
• Strong electrical, HVAC/R, and mechanical background is a plus
• Valid driver's license and driving record that meets safety standards
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to accurately and promptly complete required paperwork
• Excellent customer service skills
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screening
