Job summary

Total Mechanical Service is hiring an HVAC, refrigeration, and cooking equipment technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration systems at customer sites. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to emergencies, and support on-call rotations.

The role requires experience with cooking, refrigeration, or HVAC equipment, strong technical skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking, refrigeration, or HVAC equipment service (or related military) background.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
• Effective customer communication skills.
• Commitment to punctuality, organization, and professional appearance.
• Completion of background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
• Maintain respectful, professional interactions with customers and staff.
• Complete service calls promptly and accurately.
• Communicate clearly with customers, managers, dispatchers, and sales.
• Participate in on-call rotation and identify additional opportunities within accounts.
• Maintain service vehicles and manage parts and paperwork.
