Moore's Electrical and Mechanical is seeking a Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide range of commercial HVAC/R systems in Virginia. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and clear communication with clients.

Responsibilities include responding to service calls, analyzing system performance with diagnostic tools, and performing repairs while maintaining accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as a Service Technician, with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC/R systems.
• Universal EPA certification.
• Manufacturer certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Solid understanding of electrical circuits and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools, meters, gauges, and other equipment to assess system performance and diagnose issues.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain a wide range of commercial HVAC/R systems.
• Respond to service calls and troubleshoot issues with HVAC/R systems.
• Utilize diagnostic tools, meters, and gauges to analyze system performance and identify root causes of problems.
• Develop effective solutions to resolve technical issues and communicate findings and recommended solutions to clients in a clear and concise manner.
• Performs repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems.
• Completes necessary paperwork with company issued laptop/tablet.
• Participates in an on-call rotation.
• Safely drives company vehicle, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all safety requirements.
