Job summary

Accelera in Tampa, FL is seeking a skilled HVAC/R technician with at least three years of hands-on experience to troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial refrigeration and climate control equipment, including walk-in coolers, display cases, and energy management systems.

You will work on complex systems, perform routine maintenance, participate in a rotating on-call schedule, and communicate clearly with store staff.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years' hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration and HVAC/R systems.
Proficient working with refrigeration, electrical components, and microprocessor controls (CPC, Novar, Danfoss).
Experienced servicing ice machines and various walk-in or reach-in units.
Strong mechanical aptitude to keep equipment at peak efficiency.
Clear and professional communication with store staff.
Valid EPA Universal Certification.
Successful background check including criminal, drug, and motor vehicle records.
Able to perform physical tasks, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Access to a company vehicle with GPS; fuel card provided.

Responsibilities
