Job summary

Circle K is seeking a skilled HVAC and refrigeration technician to install, repair, and maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems across our stores in Florida. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical problems, weld copper/steel tubing, and ensure compliance with codes while keeping equipment and fuel systems in good condition.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, equipment inspection, coordinating with vendors, and documenting actions to support store operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with refrigeration and HVAC systems in commercial settings.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems inside and outside equipment.
• Ability to weld and solder copper and steel tubing.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal codes related to refrigeration and fuel systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains working climate by installing, repairing, and servicing refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
• Restoring and repairing faulty or inoperative refrigeration and HVAC systems and associated equipment.
• Complies with local, state, and federal codes and standards.
• Maintains refrigeration and HVAC maintenance by ensuring that required parts and equipment are available.
• Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on all HVAC and refrigeration equipment to include filter changes and regular cleaning.
• Maintains fuel equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and maintaining gasoline dispensers and related equipment.
• Keeps equipment, systems, and building ready for use by repairing equipment, doors, plumbing, floor tiles, painting, food service equipment, and other items inside and outside of the stores.
• Maintains Point of Sale equipment, Frame Relay equipment, and safes by troubleshooting, repairing, and reprogramming equipment.
