RSC Mechanical is seeking a Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to join our Fresno team. This full-time role offers an hourly wage with benefits and growth opportunities, requiring 2+ years of HVAC/R experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves hands-on service, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC/R systems, with on-call rotation after training and local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC/R
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform in fast-paced/high-pressure environments
• Self-starter capable of working independently and in a team
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills
• Technicians provide their own standard hand tools
• Comfortable using mobile devices and digital work orders
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation after training and travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and self-contained refrigeration systems
• Work on split systems, package units, heat pumps, condensing units and controls
• Repair self-contained cases, coolers, freezers, and ice machines
• Perform preventive and general maintenance
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues
• Handle refrigerants safely per EPA regulations
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members
• Complete digital work orders and required documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation after training
• Travel locally as needed
