Job summary

HireAligned in Brook Park, OH is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to independently run service calls on commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, focusing on compressors, motors, controls, and electrical components.

You will also perform preventive maintenance, handle refrigerant recovery in line with EPA standards, document work, and communicate clearly with customers and dispatch.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC/R service experience, including commercial service calls.
• EPA Section 608 certification
• Solid electrical troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license
• Comfortable working on ladders, rooftops, and in tight spaces

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including compressors, motors, controls, and electrical components.
• Run service calls on commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-ins, reach-ins, and ice machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance to catch problems before they cause downtime.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, dispatch, and teammates

We're looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician who can run commercial service calls on their own. Our work centers on commercial refrigeration and HVAC, so refrigeration experience goes a long way here.
