Job summary

RSC Mechanical is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Service Supervisor to oversee daily service operations, lead technicians, and ensure safe, efficient work. The role emphasizes coaching, dispatch coordination, and customer relations across field service activities.

You will mentor technicians, monitor performance, and drive adherence to safety and company standards while coordinating repairs, installations, and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems including walk‑ins, ice machines, self‑contained systems, and supermarket refrigeration is required.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing commercial HVAC/R systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with technicians, customers, dispatch, and management.
• Ability to prioritize service needs and manage multiple technicians and calls at once.
• Experience handling escalated service issues and providing technical direction when needed.
• Dependable, professional, and able to make sound decisions independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and support technicians to meet daily service demands.
• Oversee day‑to‑day field service operations and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely completion of service calls.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for technicians regarding service needs, technical issues, and escalations.
• Support the hiring, training, and development of technicians.
• Monitor technician performance and provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Identify training needs and help ensure technicians stay current on equipment, procedures, and industry best practices.
