Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

State Mechanical Services is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects across Chicagoland.

This role owns projects from award through closeout, with responsibility for budget, schedule, scope, forecasting, change management, documentation, and project execution. You’ll work directly with field supervision, subcontractors, vendors, owners, and project partners to deliver safe, profitable work.

• Manage commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects from award through closeout
• Own project budgets, schedules, cost-to-complete forecasting, and financial performance
• Protect project margin through cost control, scope management, and timely change orders
• Coordinate field supervision, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $105,000–$130,000, based on experience and project complexity.
