Job summary

LeoForce seeks a Commercial HVAC Project Manager in San Jose, CA. This full-time role oversees HVAC and plumbing construction projects, driving sales, engineering, purchasing, budgeting, and client relations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HVAC/plumbing project management, strong leadership, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience managing HVAC and/or plumbing construction projects or equivalent experience in estimating, design, and project management for projects ranging $50k-$25M+.
• Proven experience in estimating, proposal writing, contract negotiations, budgeting, and cost control.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and project-management skills; able to manage high-volume issues across teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management abilities with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily project operations, scope, schedule, and execution of trade work.
• Lead and coordinate engineering, purchasing, accounting, construction, and service activities for assigned projects.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, contracts, and support sales activities including negotiations and presentations.
• Develop and maintain project budgets; monitor costs and implement corrective actions to meet profitability goals.
• Produce and manage project documentation (letters, memos, change orders, closeout packages) and ensure sound business/legal procedures.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and industry stakeholders.
