Job summary

AIR Control Concepts in Norfolk, VA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support development and execution of commercial HVAC opportunities. This role combines technical estimating, sales support, project management, and financial ownership.

You will work with Sales during opportunity development to perform site assessments, develop scopes, prepare estimates, identify risks, and lead projects through planning, procurement, field execution, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC project management experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment schedules.
• Strong estimating and cost-to-complete skills.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and field teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to develop HVAC project opportunities.
• Perform site surveys, assess conditions, and identify risks.
• Develop clear scopes of work, assumptions, exclusions, and responsibilities.
• Prepare estimates covering equipment, materials, labor, and subcontractors.
• Develop project schedules and procurement plans.
• Manage awarded projects through closeout and customer turnover.
