Commercial High-Rise Window Cleaning Technician

S&K Building Services is expanding across the nation and seeking a Commercial High-Rise Window Cleaning Technician. As a High-Rise Technician, you'll support our client base at high elevations using rope descent systems. We offer opportunities for advancement, training, and promotion from within.

This position supports Great Lakes Window Cleaning, an acquired company of S&K.

Location: 501 West Mount Hope Ave, Lansing MI 48910

Responsibilities

• Clean windows and glass surfaces with non-abrasive tools
• Safely descend buildings using rope systems to reach windows
• Communicate with site contacts and obtain work approval
• Transport, set up, and break down water-fed poles for cleaning multi-story windows
• Clean up thoroughly after each job
• Maintain company vehicle and supplies
• Attend weekly safety meetings

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high-rise window cleaning with rope descent systems
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
• Ability to work at heights from 5ft to 40ft (training provided)
• Work outdoors and indoors in variable weather
• Strong time-management, professionalism, and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills

• Certification or authorization in Rope Descent Systems (RDS)
• SPRAT certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
