Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service in Portland seeks a Commercial Business Manager to grow our commercial sales by developing relationships with new and existing customers while leading the commercial jetting and sales team. Your role includes field visits, program promotions, coordinating with the national sales team, and ensuring efficient work orders and service delivery to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• At least 5 years of sales and management experience.
• Commercial Sales experience with proven year-over-year growth.
• Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop additional business opportunities by selling Roto-Rooter’s maintenance and priority care programs.
• Spend majority of time in the field visiting commercial customers and building relationships.
• Assist National Sales Team with processing work orders and ensuring paperwork follows procedures.
• Conduct job completion follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage productivity of jet techs and field supervisors to hit performance goals.
• Join local trade associations and participate in events when applicable.
• Provide coaching to jet technicians and supervisors not meeting goals; set improvement plans.
• Oversee scheduling to ensure adequate manpower for all work.
• Develop relationships with customers to build loyalty.
