Commercial Grounds Maintenance Production Manager

Join to apply for the Commercial Grounds Maintenance Production Manager role at Bland Landscaping Company.

The CGM Production Manager is a hands-on position managing field supervisors and crew members who perform landscape installation services on commercial jobsites. The Production Manager will perform planning, administrative, and regulatory functions as directed by the Vice President of Operations. The role involves promoting teamwork, enforcing company policies, and supporting installation production.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  1. Participate in pre-job reviews with field supervisors, estimators, and sales staff.
  2. Monitor and track job costs, hours, and materials.
  3. Notify relevant staff of any project overruns.
  4. Participate in post-job reviews to analyze performance.
  5. Ensure crews are equipped and informed to provide safe, high-quality work efficiently.
  6. Supervise and train installation field supervisors and crew members.
  7. Support crews in all aspects of landscape installation.
  8. Conduct safety and general meetings.
  9. Maintain schedules, monitor workloads, and review with the Branch Manager.
  10. Review timesheets and paperwork as required.
  11. Safely operate and train others on equipment.
  12. Read and execute landscape plans and specifications.
Customer Service
  • Support Field Supervisors and Project Managers as main client contact on-site.
  • Maintain good relations and communication with clients and contractors.
Personnel
  • Collaborate with HR and management to promote and enforce policies.
  • Handle hiring, onboarding, and training.
  • Document absences, tardiness, and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct performance reviews.
Administrative
  • Ensure accurate billing information from the field.
  • Manage change orders and contract documentation.
  • Review budgets, monitor work orders, and equipment inventory.
  • Train staff on administrative procedures.
  • Stay informed about industry practices and sales opportunities.
Pay/Benefits Package
  • $54,000 - $60,000 annually

Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in all weather, and around environmental risks.
