Job summary

Big Red Flooring in Omaha, NE seeks an experienced Commercial Flooring Estimator / Business Development Manager to review, estimate, and win a large volume of flooring projects. You will work with general contractors, developers, and property managers to turn bid opportunities into profitable contracts.

The ideal candidate has expertise in flooring estimating, blueprint reading, takeoffs, sales, and project bidding, with a track record of building relationships and closing deals.

Qualifications

• Experience in flooring estimating and bidding for commercial projects.
• Ability to review plans, specs, and bid documents and perform takeoffs.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents; perform quantity takeoffs; prepare accurate estimates.
• Build relationships with general contractors, developers, property managers, and owners; follow up on estimates.
• Manage and bid millions of dollars in opportunities; evaluate high-value projects daily; maximize revenue and margins.
• Assist with project handoff and communicate project details to operations and installation teams.
