Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience estimating commercial flooring for office TI remodels and finish-outs.
• Experience with Division 9 flooring including carpet, resilient, ceramic, stone, and coatings/sealers.
• Experience in new construction projects (schools, hospitals, restaurants) a plus; ability to read drawings and manage change orders.

Gulf Coast Flooring | Houston Hybrid / Texas Remote | Full-time

Seeking an estimator with 3+ years specifically estimating commercial flooring for office TI remodels and finish-outs. Our estimating team handles a high volume of smaller finish-out, remodel, patch, and repair bids with quick turnarounds and frequent change order quoting. Success requires managing multiple estimates and shifting priorities while staying accurate.

What You'll Do

• Complete takeoffs in MeasureSquare 8 and obtain pricing from manufacturer reps.


• Build proposals in MeasureSquare CRM or JobRunner, review with account managers, and submit to general contractors.


• Prepare shop/installer drawings and SOV breakdowns, and support project managers with change orders from revised plans.

What You'll Bring

Division 9 flooring experience covering carpet, resilient, rubber/sports flooring, ceramic, stone, and concrete coatings/sealers. Working knowledge of drawings, change orders, and SOVs is required. Additional flooring estimating experience in new construction - including schools, hospitals, and restaurants - is a plus. We provide software training.

Location: Hybrid in Houston or remote within Texas. Remote hires attend a couple of days at our Houston office for initial training and equipment pickup.

Compensation: Expected base salary of $55,000 - $80,000, plus potential bonuses. Higher base pay considered for highly experienced candidates.
